Downloading multiple factsheets (bulk)
If you need to download the same fact sheets regularly, we offer a simple tool that you can set up once and then run again and again:
One-time preparation
- Create a subdirectory "Bulk" in the root of your OneDrive for Business.
- Download this Excel template "Factsheet-Download-Template.xlsx" and save it in the created "Bulk" directory.
Factsheet Download Template.xlsx - Open Factsheet-Download-Template.xlsx and enter all required documents in the highlighted table by specifying the document type, fund, share class, language, and location. In the "SubfolderToStoreIn" column, define the subfolder of "Bulk" in which you want to store the downloaded documents. This can be the same or different for each document.
The download script then creates a folder in the bulk directory with the AsOf date of the run.Document type, Fund, Shareclass, Language, and Location must be spelled exactly as they appear in the SharePoint Factsheet Library. If - or _ are present, they must be retained.
Download (Bulk Download)
- Open the "Factsheet Library" in the "Factsheet Production" site .
- In the “Factsheet Library” select exactly 1 single document.Do NOT mark more than one document. All documents in the template would be downloaded the same number of times as the number of marks!
- Then, in the library menu, select “… / Automate / Flow / FS-Bulk Download” .If "FS-Bulk Download" is not displayed, then you have not selected a document.
- You'll be asked for the month you want to download the fact sheets. Enter this in YYMM format (year and month) and then click "Run Flow" (e.g., "2507" for July 2025).
- The documents will be downloaded to the specified subdirectory with the YYMM appended.
In the following months, you only need to execute the flow according to these steps 1-5.
